The Player's Wiki

This is the campaign reference, written from the party's side of the table.

Everything on these pages is something the characters have seen, been told, or worked out. Nothing here has been lifted out of the adventure path, out of the DM's notes, or out of a monster entry. Where the party has a name for something, it is here. Where they have only ever seen a shape in the smoke, it says so.

That also means these pages will occasionally be wrong. Orik told the party things under interrogation and every one of them has held up so far, but he was a bodyguard repeating half-heard conversations. The town's account of the Late Unpleasantness is five years old and nobody enjoys telling it. That is fine. It is what the party has, and the campaign is played from what the party has.

Where something is genuinely open, it is on the Open Questions page rather than quietly guessed at.

Current state of play

Party level 4
Where Sandpoint, Lost Coast, Varisia
Standing in town Excellent. The mayor is pleased. The sheriff is pleased, in his way
The war Over. Nualia Tobyn is dead in the market square. Her people are dead or in a cell
Right now About a month of downtime, being played out between sessions

How much time has actually passed: far less than it feels like. The whole recorded campaign — from the corridors under Thistletop to Nualia dead in the square — is a matter of days. There was no fortnight between the fight at the bridge and the fight at the north gate. There was a night.

The pages

The Party Who we are, what we can do, and the two of us who grew up here.

Sandpoint The town, the map, the buildings that matter, and what the party did to it.

The People of Sandpoint Friends, employers, patients, holdouts and one very grateful nobleman.

The Enemy Nualia Tobyn, what she was doing, who was doing it with her, and where they all are now.

Thistletop The sea stack, the fort, the shrine, and the sealed door at the bottom of it.

Thassilon The empire under everything, the seven sins, and Earthfall — as it was explained to us.

The Battle of Sandpoint The whole siege as one account: how it was fought, stage by stage, and who did what.

Open Questions The honest list. Everything we are carrying around that we do not understand yet.
