Seattle, 2050. The neon shines bright, but the streets are darker than ever. The megacorporations own the skyline, their reach extending into every corner of life, while the desperate and the dangerous carve out what little power they can in the Sprawl below. The law? A joke. Justice? For sale to the highest bidder. If you’re not corporate property, you’re disposable.
That’s where we come in—the Shadowrunners. Mercenaries, hackers, spell-slingers, and cybered-up killers for hire. We do the jobs the corps don’t want to be caught doing, running in the margins where secrets are currency and loyalty is a liability. If you’re lucky, you get paid. If you’re unlucky, you get dead. Most of us end up both.
This is Shadows Over Seattle, a campaign where cyberpunk meets high fantasy, where ancient magic collides with cutting-edge technology, and where every job could be your last. You ready to play the game?
We’re running a customized Open D6 system, fine-tuned for fast, tactical combat, cinematic action, and hard choices. The dice pools keep things fluid, letting you push your luck—just don’t get cocky, because the corps and the streets don’t play fair. Expect gunfights, high-speed chases, tense negotiations, and the ever-present risk of betrayal.
Seattle’s a city of contradictions. Corporate arcologies scrape the sky while squatters and syndicates fight for turf in the shadows below. Gangs rule entire districts, smuggling rings operate under corporate noses, and shadow networks spread whispered rumors of data worth killing for. It’s a city where you can disappear—if you can afford it.
Magic is back, and it’s changed everything. Street Shamans call on spirits to bend reality to their will. Combat Mages turn boardrooms into battlefields. Deckers ride the pulse of the Matrix, cracking open firewalls while dodging lethal security programs. Meanwhile, the Street Samurai and Weapon Specialists keep the blood flowing, cybered-up and ready for war.
And looming over it all, the corps. Ares, Renraku, Aztechnology—power beyond the reach of governments, untouchable except in the shadows. And that’s where we come in.
This is Shadows Over Seattle. It’s dirty, it’s deadly, and it sure as hell ain’t fair. But if you’ve got the skill, the grit, and just a little bit of luck, you might make it out alive. Maybe even rich.
So, Chummer—are you in, or are you out?
